Keep it simple.
- Start with a large saucepan.
- Fill with cold water, enough so there's at least an inch above the eggs.
- Add eggs, not too many, make sure there's room so they don't bump into each other too much.
- Bring just to a boil, not a rolling boil, just a few bubbles is all.
- Turn off the burner, place a lid on the pan.
- Set a timer for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes is up, add the eggs a bowl filled with cold water (this stops the cooking process and I believe makes them easier to peel).
